Legal Education - Māori Land (Succession & Whānau Trusts)
Rotorua Library
Rotorua, New Zealand
Event description
A whānau trust combines the shares of a related group of owners into one; it provides a means of preserving ancestral land by preventing individual whānau members dealing with their shares separately.
With Māori land, an order from the Māori Land Court is necessary to transfer the deceased person’s land interests to his or her successors.
To learn more, join us for a free legal education session about Māori Land at Rotorua Library.
All legal education seminars are free and open to everyone. If you would like to attend, please register.
