Level 2 (Intermediate) Sewing Class for Kids and Teens - 4 weeks

Has your child done our beginner sewing class? Or has basic sewing machine experience? Do they want to extend their sewing machine skills? This Level 2 (intermediate) sewing class is aimed at 9+ year olds wanting to build on their basic sewing machine skills. 

The projects for this 4 week (2 hours per week) class include:

• elastic waistband shorts

• a zippered pouch.

When: Monday afternoons 4 till 6pm, Nov 10th, 17th, 24th, Dec 1st

All materials, patterns and use of equipment are included in the cost of the course. Students can bring their own sewing machine or use one of ours.

Required skills: Ability to thread and adjust sewing machine and sew simple projects.

Our Workshops: All our classes and workshops are created using circular economy principles. This means we will be using many recycled and reclaimed fabrics and haberdashery items for our projects. We are deeply passionate about diverting textile waste from landfill and we do this through upcycling.
