About your instructor, Christopher Schiavo:
Improv comedy instructor, Christopher Schiavo, has more than 10 years of experience studying and performing improv comedy in Los Angeles, including at The Groundlings Comedy Theatre, training ground to such comic performers as Will Ferrell, Phil Hartman, and Melissa McCarthy. Chris performed in a long-form improv group in Los Angeles alongside Eric Stonestreet, star of TV’s Modern Family. Chris has also performed and coached comedy groups at Improv Olympic West in Hollywood. Here in Jacksonville, Chris has taught improv comedy at The University of North Florida, First Coast Technical College, The Bolles School, The Episcopal School of Jacksonville, and Douglas Anderson School of the Arts.
