LGBT Q-time - Bendigo
Event description
The LGBTI Q-time project provides a safe and inclusive opportunity for the general public, service providers and LGBTIQA+ community members to ask questions and have a 1:1 chat with Community Development Worker from Thorne Harbour Country.
The invitation is open to any community members, service providers, club and community group representatives who answer yes to any of the following:
o Would you like resources and/or information about LGBTIQA+ identities?
o Would you like a discussion to learn more about LGBTIQA+ language and culture?
o Do you want to become a better ally?
o Do you feel apprehensive about attending or asking questions at an LGBTIQA+ specific service or event?
o Are you questioning your own identity?
o Do you want to know how to support a family member, colleague or community member who has come out as gender and/or sexually diverse?
o Would you like to connect into an LGBTIQA+ service for counselling, peer support or other health needs?
No booking needed, just come along on the first Monday of the Month between 10am to 12pm. Look for the person wearing a Thorne Harbour Health shirt.
