Live band: Accomplished Southern California musicians led by two-time Grammy and two-time Emmy Award-winning drummer Roger Friend, whose five-decade international career includes performances with Tom Jones, ABBA, B.B. King, Tom Scott, The Rippingtons, Steve Oliver and Dweezil Zappa. Joining him are North County bassist, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Brandon Cesmat; Los Angeles saxophonist and composer Jimmy Reid, whose career includes collaborations with David Foster, Michael Bublé and performances alongside Celine Dion and Quincy Jones; San Diego guitarist and vocalist Scott Forrest of Urban Outlaws; and San Diego-area pianist Weston Sitton, a versatile performer whose work spans contemporary, musical theater and classical music, including international cruise ship performances.

Meet the Band
ROGER FRIEND – DRUMS/BAND LEADER
Roger Friend is an internationally acclaimed drummer, percussionist, and producer whose career spans more than five decades and performances in over 100 countries. A two-time Grammy and two-time Emmy Award winner, his credits include Tom Jones, ABBA, B.B. King, Tom Scott, The Rippingtons, Steve Oliver and Dweezil Zappa.
BRANDON CESMAT – BASS GUITAR
Brandon Cesmat is a North San Diego County-based bassist, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose work blends jazz, pop, Americana and literary storytelling. His album, Californ-Noir, features acclaimed San Diego musicians including Peter Sprague, Duncan Moore, Gunnar Biggs and Danny Green. He has performed throughout North County and is also an award-winning writer and educator.
JIMMY REID – SAXOPHONE
Los Angeles-based saxophonist, pianist and composer Jimmy Reid made his recording debut with Forever Loved on Sire/Discovery Records. A USC alumnus, his career includes work with David Foster, Michael Bublé and Renee Olstead, along with performances alongside Celine Dion, Brian McKnight, Eric Benét, Quincy Jones and Sly Stone.
SCOTT FORREST – GUITAR
San Diego-based guitarist and vocalist Scott Forrest performs with the country-rock and Americana band Urban Outlaws. A versatile multi-instrumentalist, he plays lead, rhythm, and acoustic guitar, bass, and mandolin, with experience spanning country, blues, R&B, and alternative music. Urban Outlaws is known locally for its four-part vocal harmonies.
WESTON SITTON – KEYS
Weston Sitton is a San Diego-area pianist who enjoys playing contemporary, musical theater, and classical tunes, along with many other genres. In addition to local work, he spends much of his time traveling the world while performing on cruise ships. He also shares piano performances and tutorials through his YouTube channel. Weston is also credited as keyboardist and co-writer on NatePalm’s 2025 track “I Won't Tell.”
