Following an incredible 2026 Gala attended by 375 guests, Light Up The Night returns for another spectacular evening of celebration, entertainment, generosity and impact.

For over 16 years, At The Ark Inc. has supported children, individuals and families impacted by child sexual abuse, family and domestic violence, and trauma.
Our mission is captured in three simple but powerful words:

Through counselling, trauma recovery programs, prevention and education initiatives, and practical support for families in crisis, At The Ark provides hope and practical help when people need it most.
Funds raised through Light Up The Night help us continue providing these vital services and reaching more people in our community.

- 1. What is included in my ticket?
Your ticket includes a delicious three-course dinner, a four-hour beverage package, live entertainment and access to all the fun of the evening, including our Live & Silent Auctions, Burst-A-Balloon, Fun Box Raffle, 360° Photo Booth and more. Please note that auction items, raffles and other fundraising activities involve additional purchases.
- 2. What is the dress code?
Light Up The Night is a special night out, so we encourage guests to dress for the occasion. Cocktail or formal attire is recommended. Whether you choose a suit, cocktail dress or something with a little extra sparkle, we’d love you to come ready to enjoy a wonderful evening!
- 3. Can I purchase individual tickets or book a whole table?
Yes. Individual tickets are available, or you can gather your friends, family, colleagues or clients and book a full table of 10 at a special discounted table price. Booking a full table is a great way to enjoy the Gala together, guarantees your group is seated together and offers even better value than purchasing 10 individual tickets.
- 4. Can I sit with friends who have booked separately?
We will do our very best to seat you together. When booking, please provide the name of the person or group you would like to sit with where requested. Seating requests are subject to availability, so we recommend booking early where possible.
- 5. Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. Please provide any dietary requirements when completing your booking. We will work with the Sharks Event Centre to accommodate notified dietary requirements wherever possible. Please ensure these are submitted by the requested deadline.
- 6. What is the refund and ticket transfer policy?
Refunds are available up to 30 days prior to the event. No refunds will be available within 30 days of the Gala. If you are unable to attend, your ticket may be transferred to another guest. Please ensure the attendee details are updated or contact At The Ark if you require assistance.
- 7. Where and when is the Gala?
Light Up The Night Gala 2027 will be held on Saturday 7 August 2027 from 5:30pm to 11:00pm at the Southport Sharks Event Centre, Southport, Queensland.
- 8. Is there a limit on attendance?
Yes. Light Up The Night Gala 2027 is strictly limited to 400 guests. We recommend booking early, particularly if you are planning to attend as a group or book a full table.
- 9. Is parking available at the venue?
Yes. Ample parking is available at Southport Sharks, making it easy for guests to arrive and enjoy the evening. We recommend allowing a little extra time for parking and making your way to the Sharks Event Centre before the Gala begins at 5:30pm.
- 10. Are sponsorship opportunities available for the 2027 Gala?
Yes! A range of corporate sponsorship and partnership opportunities are available for the 2027 Light Up The Night Gala, offering businesses the opportunity to align their brand with an important cause while gaining valuable exposure before, during and after the event.
