Lily Daoud (Accomplice Collective, Zanabaq) is a multi-disciplinary artist and contemporary vocalist based in Brisbane/Meanjin. Closing out a dynamic year of performances at the Jazz Music Institute with her quartet (+ special guests), Lily brings a curated set of jazz standards that pay homage to her deep connection to the jazz tradition. You can also expect original vocalese, and some re-imagined modal tunes that nod to the influence of her Lebanese and Palestinian heritage.
Since graduating from QUT with a BFA (Drama) in 20’, JMI with a BMus (Jazz Performance) 23’, and UQ with a Graduate Certificate (Music) Lily has performed at festivals and events across Australia. Such as FIFA Fan Festival 24’, Woodford Folk Festival, Melbourne Fringe, LaBoite Highway Festival, Metro Arts, BrisAsia, Tenerife Festival, Anywhere Festival, Brisbane Fringe, Jumpers & Jazz, Bribie Island Sounds, Bribie Island Nature Festival and Island Vibe Festival.
