Join us for an afternoon of musical exploration and fun!
Children will spend the afternoon exploring, playing, and listening to a variety of musical instruments. They will learn some basic musical concepts and work towards developing a musical piece for performance by the end of the day!
Linwood library is proud to host Sophia and Alex Bidwell for this workshop.
Originally a classical pianist, Sophia has been a convert to the piano accordion for many years. She plays in a number of bands, and sometimes when she’s lucky, the Dunedin Ceilidh Orchestra.
Alex is a cellist and bassist who discovered her love of music through her parents. Growing up classically trained, she decided to branch out into the jazz and rock world through electric and upright bass.
