Please read and note the following Terms and Conditions for all stallholders:

GENERAL CONDITIONS

ALCOHOL: Alcohol is NOT to be consumed or sold at your site. Local laws apply.

ANIMALS: Guide and assistance dogs only are permitted at your site, unless by permission. Local laws apply.

CANCELLATION: Cancellation may occur due to extreme weather conditions. Every endeavour will be made to advise you in advance if this occurs.

DROP OFF POINT: Drop off point will be provided closer to the event.

FIRE SAFETY: It is the vendor's responsibility to provide a fire extinguisher and fire blanket if using electrical and/or gas equipment and cooking at your site.

FOOD STORAGE: You should be prepared to bring adequate eskies or ice boxes to store food at the correct temperature.

GAS SAFETY: If you are using gas please bring with you your completed gas safety self-check list. All stallholders using gas will be safety inspected onsite prior to the event.

GLASS: All drink sales must be in cans or plastic or other soft containers. Crafts and produce involving glass products are excepted, but must be suitably packaged when sold.

MARQUEES: All marquees must be appropriately secured and made safe to the public. The Chief Safety Warden will inspect all marquees once erected.

PACK-DOWN: Your pack down can commence at 2:30pm (no earlier) with vehicle access when advised. You will be advised of vehicle access once visitors have dispersed and the area is deemed safe for vehicle movement by the Chief Safety Warden and Event Risk Manager.

PARKING: There is no parking within the festival site or at your stall; however you will find adequate parking within the allocated area or local streets. Vehicles should be relocated.

POWER: There will be no power available. Portable generators may be used, but must be in good working order and will require a safety check, as well as being positioned, screened and as far from the site as possible.

PROVISIONS: The items to be sold or distributed at your site will be monitored as per your application. Items not listed on your application are not permitted to be sold or distributed in fairness to other vendors/groups.

SITE SAFETY: Any equipment left unattended is the sole responsibility of the owner. All activity areas must be attended by a staff member at all times.

SMOKING: It is asked that programmed activity staff and others associated with your activity do not smoke in public view, especially vendors involved in food handling.

SULLAGE: Grey water only may be poured onto trees or vegetation reserves. No oil or ash is to be disposed of onto the gardens or roadways. All sullage containing fat/food scraps must be taken home with you; please do not pour down the storm water drains.

VEHICLES: ALL vehicles must be relocated off site no later than 8:30am if you are accessing the site, unless with permission to remain on site. Vehicles will not be allowed onto the site after 8:45am. From 9:00am onwards, you will be required to either trolley or hand cart your equipment and/or infrastructure to your stall. You should aim to have your activity nearing final set up and be ready to operate by 8:50am, in time for Market opening at 9:00am.

WASTE: Taylors Lakes Community Market Day is a Waste Wise Event. You are encouraged to use waste wise packaging for the serving of your products where possible. Dispose of your waste responsibly. Please also ensure that your pack down includes the removal of your own rubbish and cardboard waste with minimum left at the site for disposal.

WET WEATHER: All stallholders should be prepared for wet weather contingencies should they occur. Plastic tarps, protective coverings and adequate coverings for food items must be considered.

COVID SAFE: All stallholders will be expected to uphold any COVID Safe requirements as issued by the organiser and the Department of Health and Human Services, as current at the time of the event.
