About One Southlake:

One Southlake is an exciting new history enrichment program and robust student scholarship that seeks to illuminate history and lead students to be informed citizens.

Aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), One Southlake offers speaker programs drawing on North Texas residents from nearly 40 countries. These First- or Second- Generation Americans speakers describe what it was like to grow up outside the United States. Our mission is to educate through these stories so that students gain a deeper appreciation of freedoms and opportunities many Americans take for granted. Many of our speakers have escaped communism, political persecution or genocides; others have moved here for freedom of religion or speech, or economic opportunities. Just like our motto E Pluribus Unum—Out of Many, One--we come from all walks of life and countries and are all proud Americans.

About the Forge Room:

The Forge Room Foundation equips and mobilizes Christians to engage cultural issues, live boldly for Christ, and shape the future of our communities and nation. We create local learning communities and provide training in worldview, cultural intelligence, and public theology.
Whether we’re protecting the unborn, ending human trafficking, confronting false ideologies, seeking the welfare of our city, or training up the next generation of courageous Christians, the Forge Room fills the cultural gap abandoned by most churches. We believe we can transform local churches and local communities by unleashing the power of the Christian Worldview.
