Event description

The Liver Foundation West Coast Liver meeting is the pre-eminent multidisciplinary liver meeting in Australia. It is hosted by the Liver Foundation, Australia’s peak body for liver health.

The purpose of the meeting is to update medical practitioners, nurses and allied health staff that have an interest in the management of all liver diseases, including hepatitis, end stage liver disease, hepatocellular carcinoma, and liver transplantation and encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration in service of adults and children with all forms of liver disease.

This successful annual meeting is now in its 14th year.

Think of three people close to you. One of them is likely to be affected by liver disease in their lifetime.

There are over 100 different types of liver disease currently impacting 1 in 3 adults, as well as many children. Liver disease causes one of the greatest health burdens in our country.

We help people take control of their health and act to halt and reverse their liver damage.

We connect liver patients to vital resources and services to help them manage their condition and achieve a better quality of life.

We fund life-changing research and deliver support that gives hope to people living with liver disease or liver cancer.

We advocate for policy change and champion equitable access to treatment and care.

We offer a holistic view of all causes of liver disease in children and adults.
