John Long is an author and palaeontologist who has worked in museums and universities across Australia and the USA. His 26 books cover sharks, dinosaurs, evolution, the origins of sex, expeditions to Antarctica, plus three novels for children. He often writes for The Conversation, lives in Daylesford, and enjoys motorcycling.

Tanya Loos lives on a bush block near Daylesford and is passionate about wildlife and nature! Whether it be via writing, radio or giving presentations Tanya loves drawing from ecological science to educate and inspire people to care about wildlife and wildlife habitat.
