Discovering Local Birds through Nyoongar Language with Preston Culbong

Join us at the Henderson Environmental Center on the edge of the beautiful Star Swamp Bushlands to learn about local birds and their Nyoongar names. Nyoongar cultural itinerary guardian Preston Culbong, a Yawuru, Yinggarda, Wiilman, Wardandi, Watjarri, Badimaya, and Whadjak man with extensive connections, will guide the session.

This event is part of a series for Claire Billie Bushby’s artist residency project, "What the Birds Told Me." 

This session is suitable for beginners of all ages.
