Description

Meet. Connect. Collaborate. Belong.

Coffee, conversation, and community for London's ocean community.

Whether you're a marine scientist, conservationist, student, diver, storyteller or simply someone who cares about our blue planet, join us for a relaxed Sunday morning designed to bring London's ocean community together.

Beyond the conferences, panels, and packed events. Just coffee (or whatever's in your cup) and conversation.

We'll introduce optional conversation starters designed to spark deeper discussions and make meeting new people feel a little easier. You're also free to move around, meet new people, and mingle at your own pace.

Come for the coffee. Stay for the conversations.

🎟️ Your ticket includes 🎟️

  • A specialty-crafted drink (coffee, tea, matcha, or cold drink).

  • A delicious pastry or small snack.

Limited to 30 places. We want to keep the event intimate and give everyone a chance to connect. Make sure to grab your ticket early!

🗳️ Enter our raffle 🗳️

Every raffle ticket will support The Marine Diaries' ocean storytelling projects, with ocean-friendly prizes donated by fantastic sustainable brands. Expect magazines, apparel, ocean-inspired gifts, accessories, and more. Over £420 worth of prizes to be won.

🗣️ Meet your hosts 🗣️

Rebecca Daniel

Rebecca is a marine biologist, science communicator, and Director of The Marine Diaries - who’s passionate about making the ocean accessible to everyone. She combines her background in research, storytelling, and communications to create ways to bring ocean stories to life and inspire more people to connect with the ocean. Occasionally you might find her diving in kelp forests, creating content on coral reef restoration, or collecting data on whales (but mostly you’ll find her behind a laptop!).

Molly McNamara-Langton

Molly is a marine biologist, wildlife filmmaker, and self-confessed shark enthusiast who's turned a lifelong fascination with sharks into a PhD studying the mysterious predators of the deep sea. She's passionate about sharing ocean stories and has helped bring the natural world to screens, as part of the Emmy Award-winning team behind Incredible Animal Journey for Disney+.
