    Free film screening to mark 100 years of the Archibald Prize.

    Looby is a film about the eponymous Australian artist Keith Looby. Keith Looby won many major awards, including (in controversial circumstances) the Archibald Prize.

    The Archibald Prize always creates much discussion about portraiture. Looby adds personality and politics to the mix. Among other things, the film delves into the painter's focus on Indigenous history and trauma at a time when Australian institutions were of a "history began with the First Fleet" mindset.

    Why do we have to book as a group?

    We’ve set up seats in groups. This helps us to keep a safe 1.5m between groups. Group bookings are the only way we can fit everyone in our venue, and make sure that we are all COVID safe. 

    At this event, you will be seated within 1.5m of the people in your group.

    What if I feel unwell on the day?

    Please don’t come if you feel unwell, have any COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with someone with symptoms. Let us know as soon as possible.
