Looping Masterclass 2 day Workshop series
Event description
Join us for 2 days of learning the ancient art of Looping. You will learn various looping styles beginning with simple looping on a form and progressing to chain and double loop techniques to make vessels, loop into a void and cover rocks or other objects.
We will use various types of strings and sustainable fibres to create with as well as learning how to make your own string/cordage to use for a looping project of your choice.
This workshop series will give you the skills to create both functional and sculptural art pieces.

Friday 25th July & Friday 1st August from 10am - 2pm

All materials and equipment (please feel free to bring along any found objects or adornments that are special to you if you would like to incorporate them into your project)
Nourishing lunch, selection of teas and coffee
Tour of our 1 acre garden oasis where you will learn about harvesting and preparation of plant materials for weaving
Small group sizes allow for plenty of one on one tuition as required
Peaceful and tranquil space, community connection, inspiration and individual creativity is encouraged
