Set your livestock program up for success at this free one-day workshop for farms across the Hunter region.

Join our Local Land Services Livestock Officer and local District Vet in the paddock and stock yards to learn on-farm stock management and breeding basics, with advice on simple production systems for beef cattle, sheep, or goats.

Get the run-down on:

Buying and selling stock – demystifying LPA, NLIS and Livestock ID requirements
Introduction to stock nutrition and feeding
Breeding and dry stock management
Your seasonal animal health checklist
Building livestock assessment skills
On-farm demonstrations of stock treatment and handling jobs
