Join us for a clay sculpture workshop led by Ali Aedy, the curator of and featured artist in the group exhibition 'SHOW OFFS'

Ever wonder how artists use different materials to make work?
Would you like to play with art materials and methods and make some art?
Whether you’re a beginner or a professional maker these workshops are for you. They are about playing with materials and enjoying the process of creativity in a relaxed atmosphere.
Ali Aedy - M16 studio artist from Ali Aedy Art Collective - is running two workshops on art making in Gallery 1 at M16.
The runtime is 1.5 hours.
All materials will be provided.
In this workshop, you will choose an artwork on display in the 𝙎𝙃𝙊𝙒 𝙊𝙁𝙁𝙎 exhibition to explore. Using air dry clay, a board and tools, you’ll make a sculptural interpretation of the artwork. Ali will outline some methods and processes to assist you to build in three dimensions.

Parking: M16 Artspace has free parking and dedicated disability parking spots outside the entrance.
Wheelchair access: Ramp access at the entrance of M16, however this can be too narrow for some wheelchair users. If this proves to be the case the studio access entrance has no stairs and connects directly to the gallery, please contact us for more information!
Bathrooms: We have one wheelchair access and gender-neutral bathroom behind the lobby in addition to two gendered bathrooms.
