Discussing their creative influences, techniques and process, join Buffy Jackson and Sallie Saunders for a floor talk and tour of their collective exhibition Solastalgia at 1pm Thursday, February 1st.

About Solastalgia

Solastalgia is described as “the ongoing loss of solace and the sense of desolation connected to the present state of one’s home territory”.(Albrecht A 2019, Earth Emotions: New Words for a New World, Cornell University Press.) 

In this collaborative and multidisciplinary exhibition, Buffy Jackson,Sallie Saunders and Barbara Hodgson
explore their sensations of Solastalgia and a celebrate the nurturing and reclaiming our natural spaces.

Exhibition runs from
20th January - 12th February.

Parking: M16 Artspace has free parking and dedicated disability parking spots outside the entrance.
Wheelchair access: Ramp access at the entrance of M16, however this can be too narrow for some wheelchair users. If this proves to be the case the studio access entrance has no stairs and connects directly to the gallery, please contact us for more information!

Bathrooms: We have one wheelchair access and gender neutral bathroom behind the lobby in addition to two gendered bathrooms.
