Nicole Skeltys is a pioneering electronic and multi-genre composer, best known as one half of femme-tech outfit B(if)tek (1996-2003) and solo disco-hillbilly project Artificial. She has released 11 albums in many different styles including electronic dance to folk rock, country psychedelia and folktronica. She has just completed a rock opera about London's finance industry which will be released mid 2022. Reviewers have described Nicole's Artificial tracks as characterised by "the most primitive of synth twiddles" and "If you could hear velour, it would sound like this". Mainline would like to acknowledge that this event takes place on stolen land. We acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which this event takes place, the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, and we pay our respects to elders - past, present and emerging. We will gather on what always was, and always will be Aboriginal Land. Sovereignty was never ceded.
