Make a Home for Blue-banded Bees
Event description
Buzz into the fascinating world of native bees! This hands-on workshop introduces participants to over 1,700 native Australian bee species, focusing on the charismatic Blue-banded bee. Participants will learn how these ground-dwelling bees help pollinate both native plants and garden vegetables—and they’ll create their very own bee home using sand and clay to support these vital insects in their backyards.
