Make a Scrappy Friend using fabric scraps and creativity!

Give fabric scraps new life by creating a whimsical "Scrappy Friend" - a soft, hand-sewn creature made entirely from bits and pieces of fabric, trims, and imagination! In this playful, hands-on class, you'll learn how to collage fabrics together by hand, then use decorative stitches to bring texture and personality to your creation. We’ll explore how to add fun details using cords, ribbons, buttons, beads, and other embellishments to make your Scrappy Friend truly one-of-a-kind.

This class is all about slowing down, making something unique and heartfelt, and enjoying the creative process alongside likeminded others. Whether you’re a seasoned stitcher or just getting started, all skill levels are welcome. Expect laughter, conversation, and plenty of tea or coffee as we stitch together in good company.

In the event that you have purchased a ticket but cannot make it please let me know as soon as possible and I will pay your ticket forward to someone else. 

Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. Carers and support workers do not need to purchase a ticket.

A cozy lounge area is available for carers, guardians, or anyone who may wish to attend but not participate in the class. Friends, carers, and children are always welcome to join as companions - no ticket required.
