Maker + Maker with Scott Coleman (KAB101)

Maker + Maker offers a professional exchange of creative knowledge between an expert with individuals seeking new creative experiences. Focusing on the art of making, The City of PAE invites South Australia’s best makers to guide you in creating your own piece of art.

Join us for an exclusive workshop with Scott Coleman, also known as Kab101, a multidisciplinary visual artist with a practice rooted in studio and public art, style writing, and graffiti. Scott’s self-taught approach has led to a career rich in design, symbol-making, and graffiti writing, all centered around the philosophy of leaving a mark that reflects identity in the present moment.

In this workshop, Scott will guide you through the stages of creating a collaborative artwork based on one of his signature designs. Working within a pre-designed template, participants will integrate their own visual ideas into Scott’s framework to create a one-of-a-kind piece. This intimate workshop is capped at 10 participants, ensuring a highly personalized and creative experience.

Workshop details:

• Time: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

• Location: Post Office Projects Workshop, located at the rear of 32 Nile St, Port Adelaide SA 5015
• What to bring: An idea you’d like to paint or draw in three colors (markers, brushes, or pencils) as well as lunch and water bottle.
