The most dynamic characteristic of leading in a community is working with people and a healthy workforce is essential to being able to make a difference. In our experience successfully building a culture of support and growth in teams is one of the biggest challenges managers and leaders face. 

Topics include: 

• Motivating and inspiring staff and volunteers

• The legal dimensions of being an employer

• Why volunteers are not free labour

• Building a culture where everyone gets to meet their aspirations

• Skills and processes to take a coaching approach

Unable to Attend: This course has been charged at a subsidized rate, if you are unable to attend the course please call Volunteering Northland 0800865268 as soon as possible to reschedule. We may be able to fill the space so please do let us know! Cancellation and refund policy: We will provide a full refund on cancelations provided you contact us at least 2 business days prior to the course start date. No refunds will be made for any cancellation made less than 2 business days prior to the course start date.
