Event description

WHEN:

August 8-12 |   9:00am - 3:00pm   | Extended Day 3:00-5:00

WHO:

K-3rd graders

WHERE:

2300 Garden St. (on the campus of Garden Street Academy)

WHAT:

Pasta, pizza, lasagne, meatballs. These are what we think of when we hear "Italian food." Italy is a diver country, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and capped by the Dolomite mountain range. Going beyond pizza and pasta, we will explore how the cultural and geographic diversity has influenced the cuisine.

Join us for 5 fun and food-filled days. We cook together, eat together and clean up together. We also have lot of time for old-fashioned summer camp fun.

Depending on covid protocols, we are planning guest speakers and field trips.

All staff and volunteers are vaccinated against covid.
