Real kōrero. Real connections. Real mahi. Inviting marae whānau and kaimahi to come together for our second practical wānanga. This is a space to meet kanohi ki te kanohi, share lived experiences, and work collectively on solutions that support marae administration—while learning from each other and building tools grounded in real practice.

Who is this for:

A space for marae administration ie operations, bookings, coordination, planning etc to come together, share the realities of the mahi, learn from each other and build practical tools that make marae operations stronger.

What to Expect:

• Recap & Kaupapa overview— revisiting key kōrero and learnings from our first Te Ara Whakahaere wānanga and setting the scene for the day.

• What’s Hot / What’s Not — sharing what’s working, what’s challenging and where we can support each other.

• Marae Tools & Systems — exploring a range of Māori-led digital tools and resources that can support marae administration, governance, bookings, hireage and day-to-day operations.

• Tool Demonstrations — live demonstrations of Manaaki Marae, Marae Hub and MaraeBiz, with time for questions and kōrero.

• Co-Designing Marae Signage — working together to confirm the wording and design for signage that works for our marae.

• What Do You Want to See Next? — sharing ideas for future tools, systems, training and practical support for marae kaimahi and administrators.

• Karakia, Reflection & Next Steps — wrapping up the day, gathering feedback and confirming what comes next.
