Event description

Join SECCA’s friendly art educators for a creative workshop inspired by the exhibition Mariw Minaral featuring the powerful prints of Torres Strait Islander artist Alick Tipoti.
After a guided tour of the exhibition, children will explore printmaking and collage techniques to create their own marine-themed artworks. Using gel printing plates and mixed media participants will develop unique visual stories inspired by the ocean. This hands-on session encourages creative expression while fostering respect and understanding of the cultural significance of the works on display.

All materials provided.
