✨ Day 1: Treasure Hunt & Lawn Games (1 Oct)
Children will explore the grounds of Mary MacKillop Place with a guided treasure hunt, uncovering hidden symbols linked to Mary’s story and values. Afterwards, they’ll enjoy classic lawn games that encourage fun, teamwork, and connection.
🌿 Day 2: Nature Bag Craft & Chalk Wall of Hope (8 Oct)
Children will collect items around the site to design their own “Nature Bag,” reflecting Mary’s values of simplicity and care for creation. The session will finish with a collaborative “Chalk Wall of Hope,” where children share their personal messages for the Jubilee Year of Hope.
These sessions are a wonderful way for families to connect with Mary’s story and experience MMP as a place of welcome, joy, and hope.
