A message from our Guru, founder and artistic director, Smt. Shobha Sekhar OAM:
An invitation to witness home grown musicians — a product of 30 years of research, consultation, innovation and hard work by my senior student-coaches, parents and Kalakruthi students. Accreditation by Music Academy, Chennai and Grade exams by top tier musicians (By Malladi Brothers this year) is a feather to our cap. We are preparing hitherto curated songs in various formats. Veena, Venu, Violins (Trios), Duos, Groups, Ensembles, new Rhythmic Thirupugazh in Talam (not Ragam) called Kokilapriya! We humbly seek your support and your presence. It is the most important motivating factor in our arduous journey!
