"Meander Book" Collage Class
Event description
Come join us for this fun art-filled collage class for adults! All levels welcome!
Transform a single piece of paper into a 14-16 page mini journal complete with pockets and space for your favorite quotes or images. Bring your imagination, any favorite images, text, and embellishments and get ready to have fun!
Materials: All other supplies included. We will provide aprons, but suggest you wear clothing that might get a few paint smudges.
Instructor Bio: Carolyn Brooks earned a BFA from The University of North Texas, and a BFA and a MEd from the University of Texas at Austin. After spending several years as a ceramic artist, she spent 6 years teaching art at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School and Texas State University. After 22 years as a school counselor, Carolyn returned to her first love, Art! She teaches several classes at The Art School at The Contemporary Austin (Laguna Gloria) each semester and enjoys creating new artwork in her studio.
