Meat Free Mondays Visits Aotearoa
Event description
May's Meat Free Mondays destination is very close to home - but extremely special. We're visiting our own beautiful Aotearoa, with local board member Kylee Matthews and her whānau!
They have an exciting menu planned for us, consisting of some of the tastiest plant-based kai from Māori cuisine:
Entree
Corn & kumara fritters with watercress pesto dressing
Main
Steamed Hangi
Takaku bread
Dessert
Steam pudding with custard
Kawakawa tea
Come at 4pm to learn about the dishes while cooking with Kylee and whānau; or 6pm just to enjoy the kai, company and entertainment.
