You’ll learn about the value of biodiversity in this nature-based system and the practices that prop it up it through tours of mixed species crops, fodder trees, perennial pastures, and native plantings.
Delve into how David is minimising soil disturbance with low-chemical and zero-till practices, and glean expert knowledge from Stewart McTaggart (Direct Seeding) on the machinery that's facilitating this.
Plus, see a brilliant example of sustainability extending well beyond farming operations with David's off-grid power setup and passive cooling/heating strawbale structures.
Round out the day with a barbeque featuring locally sourced Amarillo regenerative lamb from Chris Wyhoon, a sundowner walk, and the chance to connect with peers.
