Join ReadCloudVET and SAE University College for an engaging and hands-on professional learning day designed for VET Creative Industries, Screen and Media trainers. Learn directly from industry experts, build your practical skills and knowledge, and support the professional learning required to maintain industry currency and meet regulatory standards. Morning tea and lunch are provided.

The day will be structured into three practical sessions:

• Cinematography Fundamentals: Explore camera operation, shot composition, framing, movement, lighting and practical techniques for capturing engaging video content.

• Digital Animation: Create simple 2D animations using industry-standard workflows, covering keyframes, motion principles, timing and visual storytelling.

• Post-Production and Video Delivery: Edit vision and sound, apply basic effects, manage assets and export content for different platforms and audiences.

The sessions align with CUA20215 Certificate II in Creative Industries and CUA31020 Certificate III in Screen and Media, including units of competency such as:

CUACAM211 – Assist with basic camera shoots
CUAPOS211 – Perform basic vision and sound editing
CUAANM301 – Create 2D digital animations
CUADIG311 – Prepare video assets

Please note: All attendees will receive a Professional Learning Certificate upon completion of the event.
