CARERS MEDITATION WITH SOUND BOWLS
Eligible unpaid carers are invited to take some time out for themselves at this FREE respite event for relaxation and an opportunity to connect with like carers who live in your local community.
Description of the event:
Carers are offered a single meditation session with sound bowls held at Better Health Network Parkdale. Your meditation teacher is Vivienne Law from A Mindful Mind based in Bayside Melbourne. Vivienne will guide you through a deeply relaxing session with a mix of breathwork, sound meditation and aromatherapy, with time dedicated to learning some key principles of meditation. Vivienne also practices as a Mental Health Nurse; her work is informed by evidence and led with compassion. Type of Event: Carers Only
Event Details: Carers to arrive at reception ten minutes early for this event. There will be light refreshments after you have meditated to enjoy as a group. Vivienne will be available to talk to Carers after this event if they have any questions about the meditation class.
