MEDUULLA
Meduulla is a 26 year-old Zimbabwean-born rapper and DJ from North Manchester whose music defies labels. Combining modern flows and witty lyricism with jazz-iinfused hip-hop beats, her sound both reflects the present day and carries a nostalgic edge. Meduulla first broke onto the scene as a finalist on BBC’s The Rap Game UK, quickly establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with.

Transmission Towers
Transmission Towers is a dynamic duo fusing interplanetary electronics with stripped-back soul, deep groove and a forward-facing strain of afro-futurist highlife. The project brings together Mark Kyriacou and Eleanor Mante, whose shared love of ‘80s and ‘90s electronic music forms the backbone of their sound, shaped through two very different but deeply complementary worlds. Their music moves between Merseyside’s machine-driven pulse and Eleanor’s layered heritage, informed by a blend of African and British sensibilities that comes through in feeling rather than declaration, with rhythm, memory and texture all carrying equal weight. The result is a sound that feels both grounded and expansive, minimal yet emotionally rich. Their debut album, Transmission One, released in May 2024 on Luke Una’s É Soul Cultura label (Mr. Bongo), introduced their distinctive approach to electronic music, combining hypnotic rhythms, spacious production and quietly insistent vocal lines that linger long after the track ends. The record drew attention from critics and listeners for its balance of club sensibility and introspective depth. Transmission Towers are currently working on their second album, moving further into immersive and experimental territory while staying rooted in groove and emotional resonance. As their sound continues to evolve, Transmission Towers stand as a quietly singular voice in contemporary electronic music, unpredictable, intentional and deeply alive.
