Experience the music of four unique and powerful artists as they take you on a transformative journey in a variety of styles! From folk punk ukulele to driving indie rock, these femmes will cut straight to your heart and also make you want to get up and sing and dance! While this show is celebrating Meg’s belated August birthday, it is more so to celebrate the overall joy, passion and abundance all four acts share in creating and sharing music.

About the Artists:

Joy Burkland is a singer and guitarist who makes songs about transformative queer love. Her recent debut album Songbouquet released this March was described as “Irresistible” by PopMatters. Joy happiest when she’s mixing up a big pot of pesto pasta for her friends. @joy_songbouquet

Meghan Kylie is fully aware that she could not exist without music or community. She creates genre-resistant music that reflects that, in a searingly raw, evocative celebration of self-expression and authenticity. @meghankyliemakesmusic

Samantha Goodman lets you in to her inner world through her indie rock solo project, Rescue Pets. Inspired by rescue animals, Rescue Pets confronts the idea that humans can also be flawed, complex creatures. @iheartrescuepets
