Melbourne Playback hosts A Facilitated Playback Jam - Sunday 30th August

A facilitated Playback Jam!

Sunday 30th 10am - 2:30pm

A half day (4 hour) facilitated Playback Jam for folks who have any experience with Playback Theatre.

We lead warm-ups and technique training and then launch into heaps of Playback.

If you've loved learning and playing with us but haven't been able to join another workshop, or you want to flex your listening and playing muscles again, or reconnect with the beautiful people who are drawn to Playback like you - this is the session for you!

We will seek to maximise the time you get on the floor playing, telling moments and stories, and seeing your fellow jammers play them back.

It will warm your body, your mind, your imagination and the cockles of your heart :)

Friday 28th 1pm - 5:30pm

For those new or experienced in improvisation, learn the specific improvisation skills that we use to perform Playback Theatre - a form where theatre is created on the spot, but rather than having the whole world as our oyster, the performers are crafting a representation of an existing story, a story that the whole audience has just heard.
