Melbourne Social Walks - Albert Park Extended Loop - (Inc optional post-hike drink afterwards) - Easy 6km - Dog Friendly

ABOUT THIS EVENT

Join us for our next Social Walk on Wednesday the 29th of May at 7:00pm as we hit the Albert Park Loop starting at the Lakeside Carpark and extending it at the bottom to see a bit more of the park for roughly a kilometre.

This is Dog friendly walk so bring along your furry friends!

Our Social Walks are a great way to get outside, get your body moving and make some amazing new friends along the way!

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Albert Park Loop is a fun and easy hike for beginners and newbies. 

The trail is a beautiful way to see the city lights and catch some awesome mid week vibes with a positive group of people. Its also a perfect starting point for newbies with an easy and flat walk.

All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event.

Once the hike is finished we will walk to a nearby pub (location TBC) and get a drink to cap it off.

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

Meeting Location: Lakeside Carpark Albert Park (near the Public Toilets  / Plant-Williamson Rowing Pavilion)

Meeting Time: Arrive between 7:00 -7:15pm for a 7:20pm Departure. 

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 2L)

- Snack food for the hike

- Money for the pub afterwards

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable walking shoes

- Hi Vis (brightly coloured and reflective) weather suitable clothing (check weather the night before) 

- Hat or Beanie

- Headlamp (optional but recommended) - The Albert Park Lake trail does have limited lighting

FINISH

The Hike should take around 1.5-2 hours with small breaks to enjoy some sightseeing. 

We will finish back where we started and walk to the pub afterwards or you're welcome to head on home. It is a work night..
