Beach & Boat Day Yacht Sailing Experience 2.0!

I think it's safe to say we have really out done ourselves with this one! Join Nathan & Dan for an epic day at Rosebud beach, filled with games, swimming, stand-up paddleboarding and most importantly, the highlight of the day, a sail around Port Phillip Bay on a luxury 35ft Catalina Yacht. This really is an experience for the bucket list!

Our Social Walks are a great way to get outside, get your body moving and make some amazing new friends along the way!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Join us for an unforgettable beach day filled with fun and adventure! You can look forward to a variety of games, swimming, and stand-up paddleboarding while also enjoying a delicious BYO picnic lunch with the awesome Social Walks community. The highlight of the day is a luxurious 45-minute sail around Port Phillip Bay on a stunning 35ft yacht, where you can soak in the breath-taking views and create lasting memories. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or excitement, this beach day has something for everyone!

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

MEETING LOCATION: Rosebud Beach - Exact Location confirmed on your ticket. 

MEETING TIME: Arrive between 9:50am and 10:00am to meetup, check in and get setup. The first group will go for a Sail at 11:00am Sharp! 

PARKING: There is paid and free parking around the area - but please arrive early so you have time to find a good spot as this is busy location. 

CARPOOLING: Need help finding a ride to the hike, feel free to post in the Melbourne Social Walks Facebook Group.

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 2-3L)

- Picnic Lunch and snack for for the day. 

- Money for pub afterwards

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing - Bring your bathers for a swim!

- Sun Protective Hat and Sunscreen

FINISH

The beach day will run from around 10:30am until 4pm. The group will be divided into groups of 8 for the Sailing experience. 

Due to the very high costs of organising a yacht for this event, there is a strict cancellation period. No cancellations with-in 7 days of the departure. Tickets can be re-sold though if something comes up to prevent you from attending. 

NOTE: this is a weather depended event, and should the weather prevent us for going ahead with the event, we will reschedule the event or offer refunds. We will also have a back up hikes planned around the area too.
