Join Social Walks guide Adam as we bring our AMAZING Social Walks community to the beautiful town of Geelong for an incredible FREE event through the beautiful Geelong Botanic Gardens at Sunset!!

Our Social Walks are a great way to get outside, get your body moving and make some amazing new friends along the way!

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Geelong Botanic Gardens, located in Geelong, Victoria, Australia, is a historic and beautifully landscaped area known for its stunning collection of plants and rich history. The gardens, established in 1851, cover around 5 hectares and are one of the oldest botanic gardens in the country. They showcase a wide variety of plants, with an emphasis on Australian native species, as well as exotic plants from various parts of the world.

This 5 km loop walk is generally considered an easy route, and should take an average of 2 hours to complete and will take place along the Geelong waterfront as well as within the Geelong Botanic Gardens. it will also offer some amazing views of both the water and Geelong at sunset! 

Make sure you bring your bathers for a swim!

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

Meeting Location: Giant Sky Wheel - Eastern Beach Reserve Foreshore Carpark, Geelong

Meeting Time: Arrive 6.20pm for a 6:30pm SHARP Departure. The walk should finish around 8.30pm.

Access: The easiest way to access this event is by car. However, the event is also accessible via the V-Line train to Geelong departing from Southern Cross station.

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 1-2L)

- Snack food for the hike

- Money for a celebratory drink/meal afterwards

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable Walking Shoes

- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing (check weather the night before). 

- Hat / Sunglasses & Sun Protection

FINISH

The Hike should take around 2 hours with small breaks to enjoy some sightseeing and for photos. 

We finish back where we started where we can gather to then head to a local pub.
