The walks meander through a beautiful tall Mountain Ash forest with some sections of steep terrain with a 210m elevation gain for the whole day.
You can expect the following throughout the day -
- Scenic Beauty: The park is surrounded by lush greenery and stunning views of the reservoir. It’s a great place for nature lovers to immerse
- Wildlife Spotting: The area is home to diverse flora and fauna. Birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts will appreciate the chance to spot various species in their natural habitat.
- Photography Opportunities: With its picturesque landscapes, the park is a great spot for photography, whether you’re an amateur or a pro.
- Peaceful Atmosphere: It’s a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, allowing you to unwind and recharge.
All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event.
One of the huge highlights for this event is it's also near the Tesselar Tulip festival (not included in ticket price). Optional but HIGHLY recommended is this fantastic festival (entry $35) as it boasts vibrant colours, food trucks and live entertainment. The Tesselaar Tulip Festival is celebrated for its stunning displays of millions of vibrant tulips, showcasing Dutch culture through music, dance, and food. It offers family-friendly activities and is set in a picturesque location. It's a vibrant celebration of beauty, culture, and community that appeals to everyone.
