Men’s wellness workshop
Event description
Men’s Mental Health & Breathwork Workshop
You're invited to a transformative half-day workshop designed exclusively for men—an opportunity to learn, experience, and connect in a meaningful way.
What is this workshop about?
Led by Breathwork Facilitator & Trainer Gilad Shavit and Clinical Psychologist John Murphy, this workshop explores the foundations of mental health, practical ways to improve well-being, and how to create a more fulfilling, sustainable life.
Why is this just for men?
Many men struggle in silence, often without the habit of discussing their challenges. This space is designed to break that isolation. While there will be an opportunity to share (with clear guidelines provided on the day), sharing is entirely optional.
What is breathwork therapy?
A core part of this workshop is a breathwork therapy session—a powerful, body-based intervention combining mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Modern research shows that trauma, anxiety, and depression are not just stored in the mind but also in the body. Traditional therapy often overlooks this. Breathwork allows for emotional release in a safe and supportive way.
This practice involves an active breathing technique done lying down with music, creating physiological changes such as increased serotonin and oxytocin. Often participants experience deep emotions, sensations, or insights—all within a state of safety, acceptance, and well-being.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is open to men of all backgrounds who want to explore their inner world and enhance their well-being.
However, this setting is NOT suitable for individuals with epilepsy, severe asthma, or those advised to avoid intense cardio activity. If you have any of these conditions, we recommend a one-on-one session instead. A health declaration will be given at the beginning of this workshop.
