MESS in Conversation: Moritz von Oswald
Event description
Free entry, tickets required
Electronic music legend Moritz von Oswald joins MESS co-founder Robin Fox for an exclusive artist talk.
As co-founder of Basic Channel and a master architect of dub techno, von Oswald has spent decades reshaping electronic soundscapes – from the Berlin underground to the global stage. From collaborations with Juan Atkins and Carl Craig to the ever-evolving Moritz von Oswald Trio, the artist’s influence echoes across contemporary electronic music.
This is a rare opportunity to hear one of the genre’s most quietly radical innovators share insights into their creative process, technical evolution and sonic philosophy.
Moritz von Oswald also performs at Melbourne Recital Centre on Saturday 23 August. Click here for tickets.
Presented by MESS. The MESS in Conversation series is supported by the City of Melbourne Multi-year Arts Grants.
