Sponsored by Bendigo Bank Community Bank Bayswater through their strong commitment to support local projects to empower local community success, and the Office of lisa baker MLA Maylands, Workforce Australia Local Jobs – Perth North and Innovation Cluster are partnering to hold three expo style ‘Micro-Business Musters’ in Bayswater, Inglewood and Maylands.

The Bayswater Muster in collaboration with Baysie Rollers in The Laneway Artspace, the Inglewood Muster in collaboration with Inglewood On Beaufort, and the Maylands Muster in collaboration with Eighth Avenue Social, will host booths featuring providers of programs and initiatives to support people on their employment, self-employment or entrepreneurship journey! Invited speakers will share their expertise and stories of challenges and success.

Another amazing collaboration with Murdoch UniversityCurtin UniversityStartupWA and Innovation Central Perth, as an initiative to support micro-business and develop the skills of the future in Western Australian students through real world industry experience, is the digital marketing matchmaking competition which will be aligned to the muster program of events.

Competing for $5,000 in cash prizes provided by Community Bank Bayswater, marketing students and micro-businesses from all industries are invited to express their interest in being matched together to meet-up, discuss market need and understand core company values to develop a creative new branding or digital marketing campaign over a two-month period! Kenneth Yap will deliver a preparation workshop for the students prior to meeting with their business, and a panel of judges will assess submissions and award cash prizes based on creativity, innovation and impact!

How to be involved?
