The Event: ART AFTERNOON OUT - Mindful Relaxing watercolours

Discover the mesmerising magic of abstract painting with watercolour - it's the best way to switch off a busy mind and loose yourself in glorious colour and swirling designs.

• Learn some of the essential skills for using water colour paint to get beautiful results.
• Follow step by step instructions to create the outlines of a stunning abstract design
• work at your own speed to fill in the sections with your choice of colours and effects to create a one of a kind artwork that is both beautiful to look at and like a creative meditation !

This is paint and sip, the Wild Learning way: Our step by step process makes painting fun and you get to create something totally personalised.

You get plenty of instruction and support so you know how to create your artwork, with lots of freedom to be creative, relax and paint at your own pace while you chat to friends and other painters or visit the bar

Qirkz in the Hunter is a fabulous licenced venue - so you can purchase wine, beer, cider, spirits and cocktails, soft drink or amazing coffee to enjoy during your painting session - to make it extra special

*** Please note the venue is closed to the public on this date so the kitchen will not be open for meals, but the bar will be open just for our guests and also will have a some afternoon sweets available.

Emmie has managed to combine a deep love of art, sewing, singing, flamingos and all things gold into a career as an artist, community arts worker and owner of creative studio Wild Learning. Her teaching style is big on generating creative energy and helping people find their own unique art experience. With a focus on a warm, inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, absolute beginners and experienced creatives find Emmie's classes like a soft place to land in a world that sometimes feels too spikey.
