Mindfulness & Meditation For VCE Students
Event description
Exam season can feel overwhelming, with constant pressure, racing thoughts, and little time to pause.
This 45 minute class invites VCE students to slow down, breathe, and experience calm in the midst of exam preparation.
In this class, through meditation and mindfulness practices, students will:
Connect with individual senses (sound, sight etc) to experience the present moment, just as it is
Explore what 'being grounded' feels like, and how to access that state when it’s needed most
Notice the wandering mind with kindness, and learn ways to gently return to focus
Experience the restorative benefits of meditation with a short yoga nidra practice (deep rest meditation)
This class offers both immediate calm and strategies that students can return to whenever they need support, i.e.: in study, during exams, and in everyday life.
Beginner-friendly: No experience with meditation or mindfulness needed.
