Ministry Booster: Pastoral Care 101

Richard Black (BA, BD, MCouns (Distinction), MNZAC) who did the recent Ministry Booster: Caring Well will be doing a one-day training event, Pastoral Care 101 for CCVT to upskill pastoral workers. It is designed for anyone in a pastoral or caring role (pastoral carers, ministers, chaplains, small group leaders, youth leaders etc).

Topics to be covered:

The purpose of pastoral care
The power of the relationship
Self-awareness
Chauffeuring and journeying with a person
Listening well
Turning a chat into a pastoral conversation
How to ask great questions
Working with those with higher needs or at risk
Caring without drowning

Cost - normally $150 per person but a special discounted offer for CCVT
