• What is Minskys Comedy?

  Minskys Comedy is a premium live stand-up comedy night in Cremorne, produced by Kookaburra’s Comedy. Each show features professional headline acts and some of Sydney’s top comedians for a night of world-class laughs and good vibes.

• Who runs the show?

  The event was run by Canned Laughter, and is now run by Kookaburra’s Comedy, the same team behind shows at We Three, The Royal Hotel Darlington the Nelson Hotel in Bondi Junction and Drummer in Glebe. All of the shows are part of a mission to grow Sydney’s comedy scene by supporting local talent.

• Where is the show held?

  The show takes place at Minskys, an iconic local pub in Cremorne - just a few minutes’ walk from bus stops.

• When is the next show?

  Minskys Comedy runs on select nights each month. Check sydneycomedy.com.au or our social pages @kookaburrascomedy for the next date and lineup announcements.

• How much are tickets?

  Early Bird tickets are $25 and this offer ends 7 days before each event. Tickets are usually $30 online or $35 on the door, depending on availability. Group options available. We recommend booking online to secure your spot and save money.

• Who performs at Comedy at Minskys?

  Each lineup features a rotating cast of headline comedians from around Australia - often seen on TV, festivals, and major clubs - plus some of Sydney’s finest support acts. We have previously booked Daniel Muggleton, Luke Heggie, Bron Lewis, Al Del Bene, Andrew Barnett and Anisa Nandaula and more.

• Is it suitable for groups or date nights?

  Absolutely! It’s one of the best date night ideas in Cremorne, and perfect for a fun night out with mates. The cozy intimate pub setting, quality acts, and relaxed atmosphere make it ideal for couples or groups.

• Is food and drink available at the show?

  Yes - There's a full menu and great drink options. Many guests enjoy dinner before, or grab a drink from the bar to enjoy during the show.

• What’s the difference between Kookies Comedy and Minskys Comedy?

  Kookies Comedy at The Royal Hotel Darlington and We Three Marrickville are showcases for Sydney’s rising comics, while Minskys Comedy in Cremorne is a professional stand-up night featuring established comedians. Both are produced by Kookaburra’s Comedy.

• Do you run other comedy shows around Sydney?

  Yes - Kookaburra’s Comedy runs multiple live shows across Sydney, including in Manly, Cremorne, Narrabeen, Glebe, Darlington, Newtown, Marrickville, Bondi Junction plus other festival shows and events around the city.

• Is this event wheelchair accessible?

  Unfortunately, this event is upstairs and is not wheelchair accessible.
