Mama Snake is a serpent with many heads. She's been a long-time scene builder, working tirelessly across her old label Ectotherm and new label Amniote Editions coiling threads of sleek techno and trance together from Europe to the rest of the world. She's a world-builder, acting a pioneering force for over a decade in the revival of fast techy-trancey sounds and developing it into a nexus of artists and makers through her label and community work. But it's all rooted in her immaculate skill as a DJ.⁠

Mama Snake ⁠expertly tangles hypnosis and viscerality ⁠in her sets. She pairs rattling four-to-the-floor kicks and rolling bangers with textural trance, tunnelling deep into technoid wormholes before pulling you out into arpeggiated emotional ecstasy. She's got masterful timing behind the decks, and a subtle eclecticism & flow where her selections always feel fresh, surprising, and cohesive all at once.
