Landscape Lessons: Exploring Aquatic Ecosystems

Join us for an exciting evening exploring Paiwalla Wetland to expand your ecological, geological and historical knowledge of the region. An evening tour of Paiwalla will provide an opportunity to connect with local experts, while discovering new resources and activities to enrich student learning on excursions and in the classroom. Whether it's exploring the fossils in the cliffs overlooking the wetlands, trying your hand at identifying the 174 bird species found at Paiwalla, or getting a better understanding of the work necessary to restore local wetlands, there is something for everyone during our first landscape lesson of the year!
Cost: Free! This project is supported by the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board through funding from the landscape levies.
The Landscape Lessons PD series aims to provide Educators throughout the region with opportunities to increase understanding of local ecosystems to assist with teaching about the local environment. While allowing educators to explore new locations, ideas and resources for excursions and exploring topics within the classroom.
